The Starfield Pier-1000B is a next-generation portable pier designed for astrophotographers and visual observers who want observatory-like stability in a field-ready platform. A redesigned internal leg deployment system and a rigid hex-core center column deliver smooth setup, excellent torsional stiffness, and confident tracking for German EQ, Alt/Az, and strainwave/harmonic-drive mounts.

Internal Slide Leg System
A fully enclosed internal slide mechanism keeps setup clean and fast—deploy and retract legs smoothly, then lock down securely, without exposed clamps or bulky hardware.
Hex-Core Center Column
The hexagonal column profile increases rigidity and reduces torsional flex, helping your mount stay locked in for steadier imaging and stable high-magnification observing. Shipped with a 3/8 mount adapter to make attaching popular mounts like the ZWO AM5 or Skywatcher Wave series mount easy with no additional mounting adapters needed.
Vibration-Dampening, Quick-Adjust Feet
Industrial-grade feet help absorb vibration and make leveling easy on uneven ground. Locking collars provide quick visual confirmation that everything is secure. The large Hex head knobs make leveling very easy, even with gloves on.

Constructed from laser-cut steel with precision welding and CNC-formed components, the Pier-1000B is designed for repeatable performance whether you're in the backyard, at a dark-sky site, or building a mobile setup.
